NHRC BOARD MINUTES
September 8, 2009

Present were:
Les Cobb. W6TEE, President
Maynard Wright, W6PAP, Secretary/Treasurer
Matthew Cobb, W6KDJ, Member

The meeting was called to order by President Les, W6TEE, at
6:30 PM.

Les stated that he has appointed John, AE6VQ, and Loren, 
WA6LMZ, to a Nominating Committee to select candidates for 
next year's offices.  Les appointed Maynard, W6PAP, to the 
Committee at this meeting and stated that John is chairing 
the Committee.

Les suggested bringing the usual amount of refreshments to
What is Amateur Radio? (WIAR) next week.

Maynard said that he would bring a '50s CW/AM station to
WIAR and Les said he would provide a mobile mag-mount 
antenna for use by that station.

Les stated that Kim, KE6RKX, would be bringing quite a bit
of NHRC-owned equipment to the White Elephant Sale at the
October membership meeting.  Maynard noted that he has some
NHRC-owned equipment stored at home that he will bring.

Les suggested adding someone to the Repeater Committee to
assist Glenn, WA7SPY, in programming all the bells and
whistles (autopath speed dial, etc.).

Les pointed out that we ought to be thinking about a location
for the Christmas party.

Maynard reported that several members have asked when they
will be issued badges.  A consensus was achieved that we
need to get badge production working again.

Les adjourned the meeting at 8:00 PM.

NHRC MEMBERSHIP MEETING MINUTES
September 15, 2009

Setup for What Is Amateur Radio? (WIAR) began at 5:30 PM
and the entire meeting was given over to WIAR.  There were
several operating stations and exhibits.  Those attending
reported that they found the event to be useful and
interesting.

Thanks to Doug, K8NFF, and Sheila, N6IKB, for staying home
to provide a VHF contact for some of the demonstrations.
