The Annual Ham Picnic will be held on Saturday, Oct 8, at Group Area 1A
(aka the Corral), Gibson Ranch Regional Park on Elverta Road, between
Elverta and Antelope.  (Same as the last two years.)  It is west of the
intersection of Watt and Elverta (Wal-Mart), and is a right-hand turn
into the park from that direction.  There is a $4 per car entrance fee.
The suggested time is 11 AM, but we have the Group Area all day.  It is
traditional to set up portable stations early and operate from there, if
you wish.  It is a pleasant, shaded area.

All Hams, their families, and guests are welcome.  The North Hills RC
and the River City ARCS are paying the group reservation fee.  [Picnic
main dishes will be provided by the sponsoring clubs] for their members,
and it is suggested to bring a pot-luck side dish or dessert.  Other
clubs are welcome to organize dishes, or just bring your own, but
everyone socializes apart from any club affiliations.  Bring your own
sodas, etc.

See you there!  This is the week after the Whitney Classic bike ride
Public Service event.
