This is the North Hills Radio Club's monthly general meeting, and will take place both in-person and on Zoom. The in-person meeting will be held at the North Highlands-Antelope Public Library located at 4235 Antelope Rd, Antelope, CA 95843 located at the corner of Antelope Rd and Walegra Rd near Antelope.

At this meeting, Jimmy (N6FMD) from Fair Oaks will present on Parks on the Air (POTA). His talk will provide a high-level overview of the POTA program, with a focus on the planning, logistics, and activation process. Jimmy will share how he selects parks and specific operating locations, what gear he uses in the field, and how he approaches logging and analysis. He’ll also discuss the data he collects during each activation to understand what works best under varying conditions—insights that can help any operator improve their own field operations.

In addition to current club members, anyone interested in ham radio is welcome to join us.

For those unable to attend in-person, the meeting will be conducted in hybrid format with Zoom. Zoom is a videotelephony and online chat service offered through a cloud-based peer-to-peer software platform and is used for teleconferencing, telecommuting, distance education, and social relations.
