Sacramento County ARES are licensed amateurs who have voluntarily registered their qualifications and equipment with ARES for communications duty in the public service when disaster strikes. In addition to disasters, Sacramento County ARES provides communication support for community and special events all across the Sacramento Valley. The net begins with announcements, then member check-ins.
