Digital Voice Mode Simplex Exercise : D-Star
Sunday, January 18 @ 20:00
This is your chance to try out the digital voice mode of your rig!
Tonight is D-Star night!
The net starts no the repeater (normal FM mode), and the net control operator when to switch over to a simplex frequency, and what mode to use.
This is an open net and exercise. Any licensed amateur radio operator is welcome. All you need is a D-star capable rig with a decent antenna.
Preliminary frequencies are 145.670 MHz and 445.670 MHz, but the net control operator may select other frequencies, so make sure you join us on the repeater.

Note that the Net Control Station may decide to use a different frequency and/or mode than advertised in the calendar. Make sure to listen to the check-in portion of the Net on the K6IS repeater prior to switching to the designated frequency/mode.
